The Dutch, W Hotel, (for lunch)

Went back to The Dutch at W hotel for lunch.

Was really, really good but expensive. Missed breakfast menu.

All 4 dishes were great – lobster roll, hamburger, grouper sandwich and Cuban sandwich.

Sat outdoors!

$60/couple without drinks.

Will definitely go back.

Vic and Angelo's, South Beach (the old Devito's)

Last night we went to Vic and Angelos in South Beach where Devito’s used to be.

This is their third location in Florida (Palm Beach and Delray).

They did little changes to the Devito’s décor which was really nice to start. While Prime 112 and Prime Italian were hopping and totally full V&A was not. The first floor was 75% full and the second floor was 100% empty.

That being said the food was amazing. The bread was a great spicy garlic (really, really, really spicy) The kobe meatball was HUGE and the best I’ve ever had. The tuna tartar was good but not great. The filet mignon was tender and as good as I’ve had as was Mona-lee’s salmon. The cauliflower side was also great. The chocolate cake dessert was the biggest I’ve ever seen. Good for 4 people and bigger and better than The Palm chocolate cake.

Parking was $15 but again there is a public parking lot right next to Prime Italian for $4.00.

Service was good but not like Zuma or The Dutch.

Bill was $155/couple including tip and drinks.

8/10 but I don’t think they are going to survive in the long run.
